Vietnamese in Collierville -New Que Huong

The food was tasty. To start off with we had spring rolls with plum sauce. I wish the rolls had been sealed on the ends as the stuffing kept falling out of the back of the roll. Also the plum sauce was not as tasty as other ones I've had. My entree was a tofu curry with onion, mint, and lemon grass. It was served on a bed of tomato and cucumber slices. Not as fragrant a curry as a Thai curry is. Kind of a heavy sauce, but flavorful. The tofu was fried but soaked up the curry sauce really well. Phillip had Pho, which is Vietnamese soup. It was a broth based soup with vermicelli, veggies and tofu. It was served with bean sprouts, parsley, lemon slices, and kaffir lime leaves on the side. It was tasty but Phillip added Asian hot sauce and fish sauce to add more flavor. When the check was delivered, so were two orange slices and two pieces of really yummy cake. It reminded me of strawberry shortcake but much softer. All in all it was a good meal. We both were stuffed when we left because the dishes contained plenty of food. We probably could have split an entree.
